Our U3A band Retake proved very popular with members during 2023.
Larry Finn is trying to re-form the band this year for the continued enjoyment of both the band members, and all of us who love listening to live rock-n-roll.
Band members must have some level of musical background or be able to sing reasonably well, so that the band can become a dynamic group quickly. You need to supply your our instrument, and Larry will let you know if anything else is needed.
Auditions will be held Fridays from 9 February to 15 March at 10:00 am & at 11:00
Here is your chance to become the next Jimi Hendrix or Eric Clapton (guitars), or the next Meg White or Keith Moon (drums), or maybe the next Freddie Mercury or Roger Daltrey (singers) – most instruments and singers welcome (no sopranos, harps or glockenspiels please – we have plenty of those)!
