Well, the Melbourne Cup 2024 has been run and the horses are having a well-earned rest. The results are posted below. Winnings can be collected from Reception on Thu 7 Nov.
Thanks to everyone who participated and who helped make it a fun event, and congratulations to all the winners. Unfortunately there was 1 scratching, and we could no nothing to find a substitute (the organiser and his wife both had this horse!).
The highlights:
- Pauline Clark won the major prize with 1st in the $5 sweep.
- Neville Curtis won multiple prizes in the $2 and $1 sweeps
- And, by the way, the organiser didn’t win anything! lol
We hope to make this event even better next year.
