U3A Bentleigh needs you! Our volunteers are still busy planning new courses and activities for 2023 and beyond, offering retired and semi-retired members of the community an exciting range of activities every day.
Courses and activities
Our courses and activities are designed to not only stimulate the mind and body, but to provide important and much-needed social engagement and interaction for a section of the community who often live on their own.
Life after COVID-19
After the disruption of COVID-19 during the past two years, we are looking forward to a sense of normality and a period of expansion of our services to the community.
You can help
You may be able to help with this expansion and contribute to the courses and activities by becoming a volunteer tutor, and sharing your hobbies, skills or passions with others. No qualifications are necessary – just the desire to share what you know with others who are also interested in the same subject. Short courses, long courses or even one-day talks – everything is welcome.
Great facilities
The U3A Bentleigh campus itself has wonderful facilities – fully-equipped classrooms, a digital learning centre (The Hub), art and craft rooms, gymnasium, well-equipped audio-visual facilities, and a professional Zoom license for remote learning.
