1. Our first guest is Rob di Paolo, a PhD Candidate at Monash University, who will give a short 10-minute presentation on The MetConn Project, which is designed to find out how and why the brain changes over the course of normal ageing, and its use of sugar from our diet during this process.

We previously advertised the work that Rob and his colleagues are doing at Monash – and a request for volunteers – on this website here, if you would like to refresh your brains :).

2. The main feature after Rob’s presentation will be The Biography of the Motion Picture Camera featuring some early movie clips by the Lumiere brothers.
